Since our last post we have survived another round of the stomach flu for Grady (2 weeks ago), survived DJing at Youth Conference up at Camp Fife (the weekend before last), and survived speaking in church on Mother's Day. Other than that it has just been work and Grady for us. Grady is fully walking...he still stumbles occasionally but he has gotten really good. Grady also recently had his second haircut...and this time Todd shaved it completely off. At first I was thinking that he looked like a Leukemia patient but after a day or so I decided that it is really cute. As for work, Todd is busy with cabinet making and I've been busy finishing up this school year. All I can say is thank you Memorial Day weekend! I get Friday and Monday off and will enjoy every minute of my break. I love to teach but a lot of the kids this year are pretty obnoxious quite frankly (not all of the kids, but most of them) so it has been a LONG year. And on top of their issues, it has been hard to be away from Grady so I am so glad summer vacation is just a few weeks away. Grady loves to be outdoors and so I plan on spending the summer outside. If only I had a fenced yard...Todd might have to get on that. We have had really nice weather recently (like near 100 this past weekend) and Todd was playing in a softball tournament (yes, another one) so we got some quality time in the sun and have some tans to show for it.
Yesterday, my sister Wendy had her baby girl! We got to go see her last night and she is absolutely adorable! She really is so cute...looks a lot like her brothers but is more petite and sweet. So congrats to Brad, Wendy, Kaden and Brandt--what a perfect little family you have going.
