The Latest

Here's the latest from 11th Avenue in Othello:

Todd finished his man cave and has basically banned Grady and myself from the room...

This past weekend was the Sandhill Crane Festival here in Othello--Todd and I were too cheap to buy tickets for the guided tours so we took a tour of our own with some friends...

Grady & Isak
(We, being the great parents we are, forgot to bring a coat for our child and therefore, he was lucky enough to wear a work sweatshirt off the floor of Todd's truck)

We saw this cute little swingset on Craigslist and gave it a new home:
(Next on our Craigslist wishlist....a NICE and inexpensive crib...)

As for me, I am getting very large and show no signs of slowing down...I think I'm averaging a gain of about 7 lbs. between each dr. appt. If I keep that up, I'm going to be the size of a small truck by June. I'm not complaining, though, because I feel really pretty good at this point--much better than months 2-4. This week is Spring Break--love that I'm going to have lots of time to spend with Grady, hate that I'll be spending most of that time with him in the bathroom since we are hitting potty training hard this week. He's doing pretty well so far...I say that as I knock on wood...we are not even a day into it yet. Wish us luck!

On a side note, I found some cute boy boots to replace the cute girl shoes I purchased way too early on in pregnancy. Excited about these!

I LOVE the softball off-season!

This is Todd's latest after-work and weekend project...for those of you familiar with this house, it may help to explain that this room used to be Grandpa Walker's office and the back storage room where grandma's piano and the toys were stored (and where I frequently hid to stuff my cheeks with candy that I snatched up on my way through grandma's kitchen). So far, Todd has taken out a wall, ripped out carpet and linoleum, installed a new exterior window and exterior door, re-sheetrocked parts of the walls, re-textured the walls, and he is now currently painting. In the next few days we will have new carpet installed and we'll finally have this space to use. Unfortunately for me, this space will become Todd's home gym...the good news, however, is that moving his equipment to this room will free up an entire bedroom at the back of the house. So I guess it is a win-win situation. "After" pictures coming soon...

Todd's Christmas/Birthday present to me--something he threw together in his spare time--this picture doesn't do it justice! I love it!

Little girl shoes for sale!!!

Refer to previous post for picture of little girl shoes with gems. I told Charee it was the stupidest purchase ever. We will never need them! Get them fast before they go on Craigs List!!! Post made by Todd (first post ever. Stay tuned for possible posts in the future)

Meet Grady Jr.

Yes, we are expecting another boy!!! Probably a good thing--I don't think it is possible for Grady to be "gentle" and this baby will need to be able to fend for himself as soon as possible. We are all very excited!!!

Boy or Girl????

Tomorrow I go in for my ultrasound--dying to know what I'm having! Will I be using this cute onesie I recently picked up or these to-die-for shoes (that I would wear if they were available in my size)?????

Riddle Me This, Batman!

It has been forever since I last posted so I realize that we probably no longer have anyone following our blog...but just in case there is someone out there, this one's for you! Todd created this nifty little riddle to announce our latest news (many probably already know the news) but if you can figure out this picture riddle, you're a genius!
